Mainframe Networking Engineer

Responsible for

• Maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure.
• Monitor the operating environments; respond to incidents, problems and plan for growth.
• Overall operation and maintenance of the data center.
• Deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware.

Skill/Experience/Education

• Mandatory:
• 10+ years relevant client experience in similar technology (does not include training period), including at least 5 years of on-site client experience in similar technology and domain.
• Min Education - Bachelors degree in technology, Masters preferred.
• Preferred skills
• Responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks.
• Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the Institute’s operating environment.
