Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6–10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience
- 10+ years of diverse IT experience preferred; financial services experience is a plus
- Strong experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application development
- Direct hands-on mainframe experience is required
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCDSMP/E and maintenance routines
- JCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSO
- Installation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV software
- ITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change Management
- Experience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms
