Mainframe DevOps Consultant

What's the Job?

Lead and support application migration projects utilizing SCM tools such as CA-Endevor, DBB, GIT, and IDD solutions. Guide clients through the conversion process, providing technical expertise and hands-on migration support. Architect DevOps pipelines using Git, IBM DBB, and automated deployment tools to modernize mainframe environments. Assess existing legacy workflows and design effective migration strategies to Git and other modern SCM solutions. Conduct technical training sessions and develop documentation to ensure successful knowledge transfer and project completion.

What's Needed?

• Clear, concise communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively.
• Strong background in application development or system programming on IBM z/OS and USS.
• Proven experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of DBB, GIT, and IDD on mainframe systems.
• Ability to analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications and related migration processes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as YAML and Groovy, and experience with pipeline debugging and branch management.
