Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mainframe applications
• Create and modify COBOL programs to handle new business logic
• Create new COBOL programs to validate data
• Create new tables in DB2 and VSAM as per requirements
• Prepare detailed documentation of impact analysis, including findings, recommendations, and action plans
• Work in an Agile process environment
• Use CHANGEMAN version control tool

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in designing and developing Mainframe applications
• Experience in COBOL (modify existing programs to handle new business logic, create new programs to validate the data)
• Experience in DB2 (creating new programs to validate data, retrieve data from existing tables)
• Experience in VSAM (create new VSAM files to store data as per requirement)
• Expertise in CHANGEMAN version control tool
