This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in NYC, Jersey City, or Pennington, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Act as software detectives, identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating and managing the team to perform effectively.
• Responsible for team decisions, engaging with multiple teams, and contributing to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.
• Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Support production.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of work experience with advanced proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
• Advanced proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 Programming Language is recommended.
• Advanced proficiency in Mainframes Modernization on GCP, Restructured Extended Executor (REXX), DB2 SQL, and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) is suggested.

Pay

Compensation varies depending on office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The hourly salary ranges for this role are as follows:
