Main Cashier

About the role

This position is part of a Shared Tip Pool and earns an average of an additional $5 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Control and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank, and check bank
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Responsible for the impress bank issued
• Performs guest and in-house monetary transactions
• Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, Food and Beverage, and Hotel employees
• Report and log all Title 31 transactions
• Sell gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to casino patrons
• Pay out jackpots and manage credit applications

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience; six months of cage cashier experience is preferred
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public in a clear and friendly manner
• Knowledge of 10-key, balancing of banks
• Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment
• Minimum age is 21 years old

Pay

USD $17.50 - USD $18.00 per hour (tipped position)
