Main Banker, Cash Operations -Day Shift

About the role

Newport Racing & Gaming is a gaming and entertainment facility located in Newport, Kentucky, featuring over 400 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art Vegas-style games, sports wagering, restaurant and simulcast. The Main Banker is responsible and accountable for the complete operation of the Main Bank. Location: Newport, KY, 41071.

Responsibilities

• Accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds.
• Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank.
• Maintain adequate operational bankrolls.
• Maintain adequate redemption kiosk cassette inventory.
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests.
• Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team.
• Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the Main Bank.

Requirements

• One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

Physical demands: frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Noise level usually moderate to loud. Required to circulate throughout assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
