Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Processing Associate to join our team. This role supports daily mail production operations, including document scanning, mail preparation, packaging, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and digitize documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Fold letters and prepare mailings for distribution.
  • Insert documents into envelopes according to established procedures.
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Package completed mailings for shipment.
  • Lift and move boxes of documents and materials as needed.
  • Push carts containing mail and supplies throughout the office.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and commitment to quality and productivity standards.

Work Environment

The office-based environment includes approximately 50% of the workday spent standing and moving throughout the workspace. Document scanning duties are performed while seated. Employees are assigned workstations; desk locations may vary based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Willingness to learn new responsibilities and support cross-functional tasks.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to consistent attendance and performance.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable moving boxes of documents and pushing carts throughout the office.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in mail processing, document management, administrative support, or a production environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Canton, MA. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
