Mailroom Clerk
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Processing Associate to join our team. This role supports daily mail production operations, including document scanning, mail preparation, packaging, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and digitize documents accurately and efficiently.
- Fold letters and prepare mailings for distribution.
- Insert documents into envelopes according to established procedures.
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail.
- Package completed mailings for shipment.
- Lift and move boxes of documents and materials as needed.
- Push carts containing mail and supplies throughout the office.
- Maintain a professional attitude and commitment to quality and productivity standards.
Work Environment
The office-based environment includes approximately 50% of the workday spent standing and moving throughout the workspace. Document scanning duties are performed while seated. Employees are assigned workstations; desk locations may vary based on operational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to learn new responsibilities and support cross-functional tasks.
- Dependable, professional, and committed to consistent attendance and performance.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable moving boxes of documents and pushing carts throughout the office.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in mail processing, document management, administrative support, or a production environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Canton, MA. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
