Mail Clerk

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Mail Clerk to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Reading, PA. This onsite position focuses on receiving, sorting, and delivering mail and packages with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, sort, and deliver mail and packages.
• Lift and move boxes and packages, including those up to 50 lbs.
• Operate postage meter machines and prepare packages for courier services.
• Deliver mail to various Penske locations.
• Audit and approve courier invoices.
• Perform administrative duties related to tracking intercompany correspondence.
• Assist Penske associates with mailing and shipping needs.
• Handle other varied duties typical of a corporate mail center.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new software programs, including web-based shipping applications.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work the required schedule.
• Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and pass a drug screening.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
