Mail Clerk

BrightKey is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Clerk to manage and streamline the flow of mail within our large corporate office in Philadelphia, PA. This role ensures efficient mail operations and supports the administrative needs of the organization.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, first shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay

• $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ideal Experience

• Professional experience with companies such as FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service (USPS), or similar organizations that handle mail/parcel deliveries
• Corporate mail room experience
• Experience handling and/or sorting mail and packages

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming mail to prepare for scanning
• Scan physical mail into digital form
• Check incoming packages in and out via a shipment tracking app
• Process outgoing shipments and mail
• Conduct multiple daily walkthroughs of the building to maintain amenities stocking, straighten conference rooms, and restock print stations
• Assist with conference room setups (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.)
• Assist colleagues with various requests in the mailroom

• Ability to lift and carry mail and packages up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• High school diploma or equivalent
