Job Responsibilities
- Level 1: Performs work center start up and shut down processes.
- Performs change over functions.
- Respond quickly to production issues, minimize downtime, and ensure equipment availability.
- Documents all repairs and PM’s using CMMS system.
- Troubleshooting on pneumatics, soldering, robots, tip changers, and assembly fixtures.
- Conduct equipment functions such as barrel/drum changes, weight checks, and changeovers.
- Understand production metrics and escalation procedures.
- Understands different types of adhesives and troubleshoots dispense systems for each type.
- Updates technical staff through attending crossover meetings and updating equipment logs.
- Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental policies as well as applicable federal, state, and local regulations; properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Level 1: 1-3 years in mechanical / automation machine repair.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, update, and work on all equipment in designated area of responsibility.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge including pneumatics and electrical required.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to communicate with internal and external contacts and work in a team environment.
- English proficiency required, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
