Description
Help us improve literacy for underserved children and adults in Madison and beyond. MagLiteracy Wisconsin distributes 50,000 donated magazines annually to child care centers, schools, food pantries, Little Free Library boxes, and other community organizations. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities including:
- Packing magazines for delivery
- Receiving, sorting, and shelving magazines
- Delivering magazines to Little Free Library boxes
- Distributing magazines at The River Food Pantry
- Accompanying The River Food Pantry's Munch Van to hand out magazines along with free meals in low-income neighborhoods
Requirements
A minimum commitment of two hours a month, schedule is flexible.
Qualifications
Many opportunities are at our downtown Madison office.
