About the role
The role is within Accenture's CEO Advisory business, specifically with Macro Foresight. This team works with CEOs and boards on enterprise-wide strategy and reinvention, focusing on anticipating disruption and volatility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver client engagements, owning a workstream from inception to recommendation and staying involved as the client implements the advice.
- Work as part of a team, contributing to small engagement teams and learning from senior colleagues.
- Create the analysis behind the advice, including creating models, scenarios, dashboards, and data pipelines.
- Use AI tools to redesign and accelerate workflows, improve research and analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance project delivery.
- Communicate with and advise C-suite or board audiences, or provide depth in specific industry or regional political economies.
- Develop new offerings like scenario planning, wargaming, and foresight, and work with Accenture's AI engineering teams to turn these into productized, AI-enabled services.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years delivering strategy, economics, or advisory work in consulting, corporate development, investment, or research.
- A track record of delivering on client work, including running a workstream in a team, hitting deadlines, and holding your own with a client.
- The ability to turn analysis into actionable decisions, drawing out macro and company data meaningfully for a client's business.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to redesign and accelerate workflows, improve research and analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance project delivery.
- A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, public policy, international relations, management, or an advanced quantitative, computational, data science, or engineering background.
Qualifications
- A graduate degree in economics, finance, public policy, international relations, or management (or an MBA).
- A strong grasp of how the real economy connects to markets, sectors, and regions.
- Experience with core offerings: scenario planning, economic impact assessments, or foresight.
- AI and engineering depth, including coding in Python and/or R, building models, dashboards, or data pipelines, and applying LLMs and AI agents to analytical workflows.
- Experience communicating with and advising C-suite or board audiences, or depth in a specific industry or region's political economy.
- Familiarity with tools like Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or econometrics packages such as Stata or EViews.
