About the role
Macquarie University Health is pushing the boundaries of progressive thinking and challenging what’s possible in healthcare research. Our research embraces large-scale, complex global health and medical issues, spanning biomedical, clinical, allied health, and health services and systems. We provide a unique research ecosystem with pipelines from the laboratory to pre-clinical research, clinical trials, and clinical/hospital implementation.

Our laboratory research focuses on the causes of neurodegenerative diseases and cancers, using these insights to design and evaluate potential treatments. We also measure, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of healthcare systems to save lives and reduce costs.
The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences leads Macquarie University Health's research and teaching activities, offering quality higher degree research training through an integrated Research Masters–PhD pathway.
