Machinist Operator

Job Summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Machinist on 1st shift (Monday – Friday). Overtime is available as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Receives work assignments from Lead in the form of blueprint, technical specification, working drawing or sketch to build critical tooling within the closest tolerances.
• Buils special tooling and consumable parts within the tolerances specified equivalent to level of work experience.
• May occasionally be called upon to perform production runs on CNC equipment, lathes, punch press, milling machines and related equipment.
• Ensures that finished product is properly documented and prepared to be sent to the customer in a timely manner with all necessary documentation.
• Works directly or indirectly with Designer or Project Engineer, as necessary.
• Adjusts or repairs to equipment as necessary.

What You Will Bring Along

• Technical Degree/Certification or High School Diploma with previous machinist experience
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations
• Must be able to accurately interpret specifications work from blueprint and bill of materials
• Prior production experience
