About the Role

Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines to cut, rip, match, glue, and inspect surface lumber to routing specifications to achieve maximum yield. Remove all defects using woodworking machinery.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience necessary
• Ability to set up and operate multiple machines after 90 days of training
• Ability to read standard routing sheets after 90 days of training
• Basic math with an emphasis on fractions and conversions
• Understanding of lumber species and grade specifications to achieve maximum yield after 90 days of training

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, depending on experience.
