Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains lathes (VTL) adjusting feed and speed settings as required.
- Reviews instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting and shaping.
- Selects appropriate settings for a given task, in an ISO certified shop environment.
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment successfully.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents results.
- Identifies needs and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a clean and safe workstation and environment.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and requests as needed.
- Operates forklift and other machinery as required in a safe, responsible manner.
Qualifications
- Experience with large OD micrometers, live tooling, Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL), mills and Fanuc controls with 2 to 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety at all times.
- Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
- Able to use precision tools and large micrometers to take accurate measurements.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals accurately.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use forklifts safely and responsibly – certification preferred but not required.
- Able to lift to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Pay
Pay is $34.30/hour - Pay is based on experience.
Schedule
1st shift 6:00 AM- 4:00 PM Monday – Thursday (plus overtime as needed on Fridays)
