Machinist - CNC or Manual

About the role

Machinists are responsible for operating various machine tools to manufacture parts and components to precise specifications. This includes both CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathe turning and manual machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and manual machines to produce precision machined parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate part production
• Use measuring instruments to check dimensions and fit of machined parts
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in machining or related field
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and gauges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
