Machinist: CNC Lathe -2nd Shift Preferred

About the role

Maintain and operate CNC lathes to produce precision machined parts. Perform setup, operation, and cleanup tasks. Assist in maintaining equipment and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to manufacture complex parts to tight tolerances.
• Perform setup and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in machining or manufacturing.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CNC lathes and other machining tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Experience with quality control processes.
• Basic understanding of material properties and their impact on machining.

Pay
