Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Utilize manufacturers and internal technical data to perform repair processes.
- Use machining equipment to perform approved repairs to components and parts.
- Use precision measuring instruments to dimensionally inspect components and parts during and/or after repair processes.
- Document repair/inspection results in internal computer database programs.

- Will participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices and compliance.

- Will follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance, and equipment operation requirements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires equipment operated: common machine shop equipment, disassembly fixtures, s fixtures, common hand tools, precision measuring tools/equipment, various general shop and office machines/equipment. Requires work location: 1014 N Flowood Dr, Flowood, MS 39232. Requires protective equipment required: PPE will be provided. Requires potential hazards: exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of information; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy; ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction; possession of basic mechanical skills, including troubleshooting; multi-tasking a necessity; knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; possession of basic computer skills; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive, concerned image to the public; ability to work without supervision after being trained; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities.
- Education/Training: Task-specific training will be provided.
- Experience: Machine shop (manual machines) experience preferred.
- Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
