Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to improve performance and output.
• Inspect finished parts to verify compliance with tolerances and specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Document production data, measurements, and process adjustments.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual machining).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC programming experience (e.g., G-code).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
• Physical demands: Regularly required to talk and hear; very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day; frequently lifts and/or moves items over 50 pounds.

• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Thursday 5am-3:30pm.

Travel

Mandatory travel is minimal to no travel required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
