Machinist

About the role

The machinists work closely with our Engineering and Production departments to create parts for our manufacturing equipment. They operate machine tools like lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce parts, and program and run CNC mills and CNC lathes.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications
• Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce parts
• Programs and runs CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Reviews electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job
• Maintains specifications by taking measurements with proper measuring devices
• Troubleshoots equipment
• Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs

Requirements

• Precision Machining or similar technical degree preferred
• Intermediate math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints
• Understand computer software programs such as CAD
• Experience with machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of G code

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $52,000 - $65,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include:

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $52,000 - $65,000.

Schedule

This position would be for either the 4pm-12am or 12am-8am shift.
