Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains production efficiency and accuracy by following detailed work instructions.
  • Ensures compliance with quality standards by using various gauges to inspect finished products.
  • Records and maintains data according to operating standards (SOP).
  • Keeps workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items by adhering to 5S principles.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by following established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills

  • Operates machining equipment and handles tools safely and effectively.
  • Identifies and resolves or escalates gaps to standard processes/procedures with critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Uses inspection gaging and hand/power tools.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues.
  • Adheres to Woodward's Core Values.
  • Prioritizes time to complete tasks within established schedules and collaborates with Team Lead to resolve potential impacts to efficiency.
  • Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Understands and adheres to standardized work and escalates when necessary.
  • Actively participates in the daily management system.
  • Uses basic software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry tools) to complete tasks.
  • Ensures precision in tasks to maintain high quality standards by following instructions precisely and checking work for accuracy.

  • Accepts feedback and works well with team members.

Pay

  • Estimated hourly base pay: $18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum)
  • Plus shift differential and overtime.

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 5am-5:30pm

Qualifications

Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

This is a Weekend Day Shift position.

The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
