Machinist, 3pm to 11pm

Nature of Duties

• Set-up and operate basic machine tools and equipment
• Use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments common to the trade
• Make special cutters and mills
• Dress grinding wheels as needed
• PM, clean, and prepare plastic injection molds for production
• Check-in/clean/document/and prepare new tools for sample
• Make ejector pins, core pins, make gate changes, K.O. bars, clean and polish mold cavities

Education And Experience

Prefers 2 year degree in Machine Tool Program.

Other related duties

• Assist machinists and tool and die makers as instructed
• Adhere to general shop cleanliness and organizational guidelines
