About the role
Machining Process Technicians are responsible for operating precision machinery to produce parts and components to exacting specifications. This includes setting up machines, monitoring operations, and making adjustments as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture parts and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in production.
- Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in machining or manufacturing.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and ability to operate precision machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machines and manual tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Skills
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
- Understanding of metrology and inspection techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
