Machinery Safety Subject Matter Expert
For our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Machinery Safety Subject Matter Expert to join their team. This role focuses on leading operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.
About the role
Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Machinery Safety Program across Americas sites
- Integrate safety best practices in manufacturing operations
- Conduct machinery risk assessments to identify hazards
- Recommend risk reduction strategies for machinery
- Provide technical support on machinery safety challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Develop training programs on machinery safety for staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EHS, or related field
- 6-8+ years experience in machinery safety and manufacturing
- Experience in risk assessments and implementing safety measures
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the U.S. and Mexico
Qualifications
Preferred certifications in machinery safety like CMSE or CMSP.
Pay
$100,100 – $180,200 annually
