Machine Tool Maintenance Specialist
About the role
We are seeking a relentless, driven Haas Service Specialist to transform customer operations and keep high-powered manufacturing moving at peak capacity. In this pivotal field role, you will dig deep into complex equipment issues, perform elite Certified Haas Annual Maintenance Programs (CHAMP), and deliver bulletproof on-site troubleshooting that maximizes machine uptime. You will serve as an essential technical mastermind who collaborates directly with factory support and inside service teams to eliminate downtime and drive step-change productivity. Every inspection, service report, and piece of feedback you provide helps elevate industry standards and builds lasting trust with the shops that rely on us.
You must bring a sharp critical-thinking mindset, an unyielding commitment to customer success, and a refusal to accept mediocrity. You will actively partner with clients, working seamlessly with team members to ensure every service dollar is spent wisely and every follow-up visit is executed without friction. Delivering a fast response time under 24 hours is standard practice, as is taking full ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs to maximize machine uptime
- Execute Certified Haas Annual Maintenance Programs (CHAMP)
- Collaborate with factory support and inside service teams to eliminate downtime
- Provide detailed inspections, service reports, and feedback to improve industry standards
- Partner with clients to ensure efficient service delivery and follow-up visits
- Maintain a response time under 24 hours and take full ownership of the customer experience
- Travel up to 80% of the month (Monday–Friday) to customer sites in the region
- Manage expenses and paperwork related to maintenance completed
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Mechatronics, machining, or engineering certificate or degree (a plus but not required)
- CNC or machine tool knowledge or experience (a plus)
- Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics (helpful)
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the month between Monday and Friday
- Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction

Pay
The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $45,000 and $65,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities.
