Machine Tender/Parts Loader

About the role

Responsible for loading/unloading parts after completion of first part buy-off of CNC Machines, as well as checking parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using CNC machines.
• Measure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to customer specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and Faro arms.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine product conformance.
• Confirm technical information with engineering, supervisory, or inspection personnel.
• Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Separate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or disposal.
• Keep work area clean and follow 6S requirements.
• Work with the team to meet daily/weekly performance goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
