Machine Technician

About the role

The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service, and cost are the highest priorities. This role supports managers and plant staff to meet operational goals and contributes to a highly motivated and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assure all activities are performed safely.
• Produce high-quality products consistently.
• Generate timely, consistent reports.
• Communicate positively with co-workers and leaders.
• Operate and troubleshoot production equipment, including off-line equipment associated with the production line.
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to standards.
• Perform various rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or safety-sensitive role.
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges.
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite.
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret measurements.

Pay

Base Hourly Rate: $32.78, plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM. Overtime opportunities are available.
