Machine Technician

About the role

The Machine Technician at GAF is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The role involves supporting managers and all plant staff to meet operational goals and performing duties as assigned. The position requires a strong safety mindset, intermediate communication skills, and proficiency in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Generate timely, consistent reports
• Communicate positively with co-workers and leaders

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or safety-sensitive role

Qualifications

• Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and reporting skills
• Independent problem-solving skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
