Your Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day machining activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop machinists while reinforcing collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Design, implement, and standardize machining procedures that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Track equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Work with Engineering and Production to refine machining strategies, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe, orderly workplace.
  • Review production data to pinpoint gaps; implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Deliver clear reports to senior management on output, quality metrics, and team development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in machining operations with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
  • Track record of motivating and developing diverse teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements within a machining environment.
  • Comfort with machining software and shop tools, including CAM and measurement systems.
