Machine / Robotic Stacker

Duties And Responsibilities

• Equipment setup, and upkeep of gang saws and associated equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot robotic stacker control consoles and stacking station.
• Able to do changeovers and adjust manual saws as needed.
• Communicate product attributes to process operator for correction.
• Verify accuracy of productivity and counts (finished goods and scrap).
• Able to troubleshoot issues and eliminate down time on robots.
• Able to set-up for substrates.
• Able to sort rejects and reclaim good material from reject stacks.
• Ensure quality and proper makings.
• Housekeeping of plant inside and out.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

• Knowledge and certified in Lock-Out-Tag-Out program.
• Forklift Certified.
• Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products.
• Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
• Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
• Able to operate mobile equipment safely.

Equipment Used

• Forklifts,
• Laminator,
• Gang saws,
• Robotic equipment & packaging equipment.

Tools Required

• Variety of hand tools and required PPE as needed.

Data Used

• Production schedule,
• Scrap report.

• Ability to be a team player,
• Ability to pass on information and training of others.

Working Conditions

• Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to:
• Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
• Nuisance dust,
• Use of chemicals,
• Working with mechanical parts,
• Pinch points.
• Noise of industrial machinery.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
