Duties And Responsibilities
- Equipment setup, and upkeep of gang saws and associated equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot robotic stacker control consoles and stacking station.
- Able to do changeovers and adjust manual saws as needed.
- Communicate product attributes to process operator for correction.
- Verify accuracy of productivity and counts (finished goods and scrap).
- Able to troubleshoot issues and eliminate down time on robots.
- Able to set-up for substrates.
- Able to sort rejects and reclaim good material from reject stacks.
- Ensure quality and proper makings.
- Housekeeping of plant inside and out.
- Assist in training of new team members.
- Fill in other areas of the plant as required.
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
- Knowledge and certified in Lock-Out-Tag-Out program.
- Forklift Certified.
- Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products.
- Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
- Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
- Able to operate mobile equipment safely.

- Robotic equipment & packaging equipment.
Tools Required
- Variety of hand tools and required PPE as needed.
Data Used
- Production schedule,
- Scrap report.

Working Conditions
- Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to:
- Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
- Nuisance dust,
- Use of chemicals,
- Working with mechanical parts,
- Pinch points.
- Noise of industrial machinery.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
