About the role
I.K. Hofmann USA has a need for Machine Operators in Kennesaw, Ga.
Responsibilities
- Machine parts to specs using machine tools such as lathes, shapers or grinders
- knowledge of measuring tools to include calipers, gauges, etc., is required
- Responsible for the proper set-up of machine tools and materials into the machines, as needed.
- Measure, examine and test completed units for defects using tools
Requirements
- Must be able to move up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day
- Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed
Work Environment
- Must be able to wear protective gear such as steel toed boots
- Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.
- May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 10:45PM -7:15AM with overtime and weekends, as needed (will train on day shift, and then convert to nights, once trained)
Pay
$17/hr.
