Machine Operator VI (Weekend Nights, Friday - Sunday 6pm - 6am)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Performs various tasks in support of production operations.
• Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
• Learns and follows standardized work created within the assigned role.
• Utilizes visual management.
• Develops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
• Applies lean concepts, makes and implements recommendations for process improvements.
• Performs other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department.

Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and equivalent relevant experience.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system.
