Responsibilities
- Operate sophisticated and computerized heavy manufacturing equipment
- Ensure equipment and tools are used according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality
- Perform machine set-up and maintenance as needed according to specifications as well as clean the machines as needed throughout the shift
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Report to Plant Supervisor
Requirements
- Must have at least 1-year of manufacturing experience
- Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
- Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic, and control systems
- Show past ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery
- Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all other PPE as required
- Must be able to work with others with limited supervision
- Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands
About the Role
