Machine Operator Trainee

About the Role

Operate sophisticated and computerized heavy manufacturing equipment. Ensure equipment and tools are used according to manufacturer's specifications. Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality. Perform machine set-up and maintenance as needed according to specifications as well as clean the machines as needed throughout the shift. Operate a forklift as needed. Report to Plant Supervisor.

About You

We Require:

• At least 1-year of manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic, and control systems
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to operate and work around industrial machinery
• Ability to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all other PPE as required
• Ability to work with others with limited supervision
• Ability to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands
