Machine Operator - Second Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner.
• Complete required logs and tracking cards.
• Ensure that machine is maintained for highest level of productivity.
• Perform in-process inspection on components being produced.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams.
• Consult with lead person for assistance if uncertain how to proceed.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods up to 8-10 hours per shift.
• Lifting of up to 50 lbs. periodically.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Basic English language skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Schedule

Second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 1am.

Pay

Starting at $18 per hour depending on experience with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.

Training

Training will be on first shift. (6:00am to 2:30pm) $20.50 per hour including shift premium.
