Machine Operator-Reading, PA-All Shifts (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), schedules, and order specifications.
• Cook continuously monitor equipment, materials, and environmental conditions to detect issues and ensure smooth operation. Make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and internal quality standards. Document all findings and take corrective action when necessary.
• Accurately record production data using production systems and following all required documentation protocols.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain machine efficiency and workplace safety (6S practices).
• Support general upkeep of the production area.
• Follow all company safety protocols, SOPs, Control Plans, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to ensure a safe work environment.
• Support the team with additional tasks, including training new employees and assisting with process improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and powered hand trucks to load materials and transport finished goods.
• Perform operator-level preventive maintenance on machines and tools.

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or GED.
• OSHA-certified forklift operation experience (stand-up and walk-behind trucks), preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with experience using hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of raw materials, production flow, and quality control practices.
• Computer proficiency, especially in ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
