About the role
The Roll Tender will order, inspect, mount, and effectively splice paper while maintaining adequate levels of supplies and solutions throughout production periods.
Responsibilities
- Order, inspect, mount, and splice paper
- Maintain adequate levels of supplies and solutions during production
- Perform work productively and safely
- Work mandatory overtime as needed
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Stand, walk, handle, and reach overhead for extended periods
- Perform occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling
- Wear required safety gear: hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- At least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Reliable with good attendance
Schedule
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours per week). Overtime pays time and a half after 36 hours per week. Night shift includes a 24% shift incentive on all hours.
Pay
Eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks. Competitive compensation with overtime and shift incentives.
