About the Role
The Machine Operator satisfies customer requirements of quality, quantity, and delivery in a safe manner while maximizing productivity. The Press Brake Operator sets up and/or operates a power-press brake machine to bend, form, or straighten material as specified by work order and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate power-press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten material according to work orders and customer requirements.
- Ensure production meets quality, quantity, and delivery standards in a safe manner.
- Measure machined features using a variety of instruments to inspect material for quality conformance.
- Interpret drawings and use measuring devices to verify specifications.
Requirements
- 2+ years of machine operating experience on press brake preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance.
