Our client, a food manufacturing company in Richland County, Wisconsin, is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery and wants to develop their mechanical skills through on-the-job training in machine maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Operate food manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and assist with troubleshooting.
- Receive hands-on training in machine maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Support production goals while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following GMP and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, or Production Team Member.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning machine maintenance.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and performing basic repairs as trained.
- Reliable work history with a strong attendance record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Schedule
- Day Shift starts at 6:00 AM
- Shift length varies based on production needs and customer orders. Typical workdays range from 4 to 12 hours.
- Weekly hours generally range from 30-50 hours (full-time)
Pay
$20-25/hr
