Machine Operator II US- Multiple Shifts

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in warehouse or production areas (e.g., hairnets, beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard-toe shoes, gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
• Follow food quality and safety standards as defined by corporate, customer, or governing bodies (e.g., SQF).
• Read, understand, and adhere to production manufacturing schedules; communicate issues or deviations to appropriate parties.
• Maintain production flow by monitoring upstream/downstream issues, supplying raw materials, and performing minor servicing as needed.
• Follow Quality Assurance and Production line standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform equipment changeovers using imperial and metric measurements.
• Record production and quality data, including downtime reports and documentation.
• Perform equipment and general sanitation in assigned work areas.
• Collaborate with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce waste.
• Identify production or machine-related issues using visual and auditory cues.
• Perform minor machine maintenance.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, including cross-training, sanitation, inventory management, and training.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment (preferred).
• Ability to understand production machinery/forklifts and technical issues.
• Work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Basic mathematical abilities and skill in interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements.
• Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, or Hygiene (preferred).
• Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Certification or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Working Conditions

Operating in a fast-paced production plant with moving parts, noise levels requiring hearing protection, and varying temperatures (hot/cold). The environment is structured and supervised, with clear production targets and schedules.

Schedule

Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
