Machine Operator II - Comm Data

What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Machine Operator II to join their team. This position is at their Reno, NV facility. In this function, you will:

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe

Qualifications

• Required (Basic): No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
• More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
• Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure

Skills

• Able to operate machinery and presses safely
• Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
• Able to work effectively and productively as a member of a team with minimal supervision
