About the role

Set up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components, and/or assemblies. This is an on-site role requiring 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to read and understand Thermo King prints for the specific department.
  • Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for the specific department.
  • Set up and run basic operations with assistance.
  • Use computers for email, data entry, and touch screens for equipment.
  • Support and maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace.
  • Understand, accept, and support vision and key business goals.
  • Resolve problems at the lowest level possible and identify solutions when communicating issues.
  • Follow rules of conduct and adhere to standard work practices.
  • Understand the importance of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Respond to internal and external customer needs.

Requirements

  • Pass the Minimum Qualifications Test with a score of 70% or better.
  • Successful completion of a 6-month introductory period.
  • Basic understanding, support, and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable learning and adhering to processes at an introductory level.

Pay

Hourly base pay: $23.70. Compensation may vary based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
