Machine Operator I

About the Role

Responsible for setting up and operating various automated finishing machines such as folders, Muller, die cutters, and cutters. Tasks include feeding, folding, cutting, stitching, adjusting machine settings, performing minor repairs, inspecting, and packaging finished products.

Responsibilities

• Review job schedules and specifications to prepare machinery and materials.
• Operate multiple finishing machines to complete assigned tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on production samples and make necessary adjustments.
• Package finished products according to specifications and review for accuracy.
• Document production data, including material usage and scrap, into the database for cost tracking and billing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably 4 years in fast-paced production environments.
• Strong understanding of machinery operations with the ability to perform routine and moderate troubleshooting.
• Minimal supervision with the ability to follow instructions and make decisions.
