About the role
Base pay rate is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday; hours may vary depending on operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate steel folding and bending equipment to produce custom and stock steel trim components.
- Read schematics, program machines, and run programs to bend parts to meet specifications.
- Develop a general understanding of how steel parts are used in construction.
- Learn and cross-train on other machines that cut steel.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow company safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively within the team to meet daily production goals.
- Support other areas of the plant as needed.
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
Safety
Company-supplied safety glasses, cut-resistant arm guards, cut-resistant gloves, and a steel-toe footwear allowance are provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day.
- Ability to lift 40–50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to understand and read schematics.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation, attendance, and punctuality.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
