Requirements
- Monitor and operate a variety of machines throughout the shift.
- Absorb and execute tasks from the ERP system to manage production.
- Report mechanical and physical part failures to the manager and maintenance department.
- Ensure product quality and adhere to quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Accurately report daily machine production.
- Interpret manufacturing orders to ensure products meet specifications.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams for changeovers.
- Work overtime as needed to support other shift operators and meet production demands.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours per day.
- Ability to walk throughout the plant.
- Ability to bend at the waist.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and assist with items weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Climb stairs and ladders (limited).
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective shoes and coverings.
- Must have 20/20 or corrected vision for performing repetitive duties.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals for extended periods.
