About the role
The Finishing Department at Payment Technology is responsible for transforming printed panels into individual cards. Operators work on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, from 5:30am to 1:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Use a calibrated punch machine to cut individual cards from large, laminated sheets.
- Inspect each batch for quality and sort cards into boxes.
- Manage material flow by clearing bins and reloading supplies.
- Operate machines such as Oasys, Kurz, Burkle, Muhlbauer, Spartanics.
- Ensure cards are cut clean, corners are smooth, and no defects move forward in the process.
- Work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and translate written work instructions to provide training to other employees and temporaries assigned in the department.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of quality processes and procedures.
- Understanding the influences of the vision system (pixels, lighting, masking and filters – ensuring that the correct vision file is created).
- Safety-conscious with a good understanding of general safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, with technical trade school training preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar manufacturing roles.
- Basic computer skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay
Starting at $18/hour, with increases based on experience.
Schedule
1st shift Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 1:30pm.
