About the role

We are hiring a Machine Operator (CNC) for our Bedford, PA Manufacturing Facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast-paced, financially sound, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required.

Schedule

• 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Overtime required

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
• Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
• Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs
• Contribute to team effort working in other areas as needed

Requirements

• Attention to detail, safety, and quality
• Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
• Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
• Physical stamina and strength
• High school diploma or equivalent required
