Machine Operator (Cloth Examiner) 3rd Shift

About the role

Greenwood Mills has been in business for over 135 years and is a private, family-owned company that cares about and respects its employees. As a cloth examiner, you are the last line of defense — your responsibility is to check rolls of cloth and catch defects before the product is shipped out. Any defects that leak through can go to customers and cost the company money.

Responsibilities

• Check rolls of cloth and catch defects before the product is shipped out
• Maintain and keep your own station clean
• Communicate and work well with others

Requirements

• Must be able to work a full 8 hour shift
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be willing to learn

Schedule

Shifts being hired for: 3rd shift (12am–8am). Some weeks are 6-day work weeks. Monthly work schedule is posted at the beginning of each month.
